Right Hand Tactical LLC came to life on a road trip because of the continuous support and encouragement Shawn receives from his wife.

Shawn currently has 25 years of serving the citizens of Tennessee as a police officer. During those years he has worked corrections, court house security, and prisoner transport. He then served in a patrol capacity as a field training officer and then as a supervisor. From there he went back to being a field training officer due to the importance he felt for training the newly hired officers. He was then promoted to a detective and has since been serving in that capacity.  He also is assigned as a sniper on the swat team, and a department firearms instructor.

During these years he has been blessed with the opportunity to get some of the best training to become a greater asset to the department. Since 2014, he has focused most training toward active shooter and active threat instructor training. Along with special weapons and tactics (S.W.A.T.) training to include sniper training and firearms instructor.

With this training he has been able to train police officer’s from several agencies in the State of Tennessee. He trains school resource officer's active shooter training, and has spoke to many teachers about active shooter/threat training. Provide threat assessment’s for places of worship and businesses to include active shooter/threat training. Along with training church security teams various methods to provide a greater security element for their church. His training and experience has also allowed him to provide executive protection for members of the music and film industry.

Shawn and his wife currently live in middle Tennessee with their family.
